Janie Harper Anderson

A native Atlantan, Janie Anderson entered the Interior Design field with the desire to create homes for clients in Atlanta and around the Southeast.

Janie studied interior design at the Lamar Dodd School of Art at the University of Georgia. During her time there she grew as both an artist and designer. Through experiences learning under other professionals and her time spent in Cortona, Italy, Janie found her passion in the field of Interior Design. After graduating from UGA she moved to Charleston, SC and worked in high-end residential design in the Charleston area and Kiawah and Seabrook Islands. Now, back home in Atlanta, she is putting her training and experience to use working on projects of all sizes and scopes.

Inspired by the inherent beauty of the world around her and by the individuality of clients' personalities and needs, she pulls from many sources to find solutions to the design problems she is presented with. The manipulation of space and layouts excites her - every project is a puzzle waiting to be put together. The opportunity to create a space for a client that will function efficiently, be beautiful, and ultimately improve his or her quality of life motivates Janie to pursue good design.
